This component is worth the $, even for only 1 install each. Such a HUGE improvement over the stock J! Mass Mail.
The email throttling may be just the trick if you have a longer list (over 1000) and have experienced server timeouts or you'd just like to know not only that they were all delivered, but that some were read, and not only that, you can see SPECIFICALLY who read which one. This is a powerful marketing tool (and there are LOADS of other great features for great-looking email templates, J! users vs. email only lists, create niche lists for good shoppers, etc.).
Tons of features, and it all worked perfect 1st try. Ion Cube was not hard to install at all, and I did it on 1and1 shared hosting, which people have claimed is difficult (not been my experience). Get package, unzip, ftp files to J! root. Done. What was so hard about that?
But wait, it gets better. Plugins for many popular add-ons like CB and VirtueMart. Old emails can be saved and copied modified to test market/save time, emails are archived for viewing on your site (awesome), and best of all, you can use ANY piece of content to create the email content (SUCH an AWESOME feature!). Whole articles with pics embedded/attached, or just a list of intros and "Read more..." links. It can do attachments, as well.
And, last, but not least, it has auto-unsubscribe to make list managment easier and keep you in CAN/SPAM compliance.
