The SM2 team are burning the midnight oil to work on new extensions.
And we can just quietly let you know that the next extension off the
rank will be an event component.
SM2 is putting
the final touches on an event extension that will be able to run standalone, in
Joomla! 1.0, Joomla! 1.5 and eventually Mambo 4.5, 4.6 and 4.7.
The extension
will contain the following features
- Custom Event
Fields.
- Assigning
Resources to events and allocating quantities.
- Assign Staff to
events.
- Confirmations
to determine if the Events, Resources and Staff have been confirmed.
- Optional
confirmation on Custom fields.
- Easy
confirmation approval via links in confirmation email.
- Front end
display of events in multiple formats including Year, Month, Calendar Month,
Day and Category.
- Ability to
assign events to multiple days with different times for each day including the
ability to skip days.
- Numerous
confirmation options to make the event extension function as simply or advanced
as required.
- Language files
for easy translation
- Fully templated
for easy styling changes
- Can run as
stand alone application
- Can run as Joomla!
1.0 extension utilising the Joomla! Users table and full Joomla! 1.0 security
and permissions
- Can run as Joomla!
1.5 extension utilising the Joomla! Users table and full Joomla! 1.5 security
and permissions
- Can even run
outside of Joomla! 1.0/1.5 but still integrates and uses the Joomla! Users and
permissions if required
