 SM2 Email Marketing contains a plugin architecture that makes it easy to extend the product to be able to send Messages to emails from a variety of sources. Our ever expanding suite includes: Lists, Joomla Users, Content Management, Community Builder, Virtue Mart, DocMan and JCal Pro plugins.
Plugins enable filters to be created on the Message form allowing the message to be sent to almost any source of emails including:

Send messages to SM2 Email Marketing Lists
Joomla Users
Send messages to Joomla users based on:
- their group
- blocked status
- Last Login Date/Time
- whether they have even logged in or not (with option to resend user login details, similar to forgotten password)
Content Management
Send Messages to Authors of you content based on:
- Content Items
- Sections
- Categories
- Published status
- Checked Out Status
- Creation / Modification Date
- Access Level
Community Builder
Send Messages to Joomla Users based on specific fields in their Community Builder Profile. Currently supported field types that can be filtered are:
- Checkbox (Single)

- Drop Down (Single Select)
- Drop Down (Multi-Select)

VirtueMart
Send messages to user who have bought your products based on:
- Shopper Group
- Billing Country
- Billing State
- Product

DOCMan
Send messages to users who:
- have Downloaded a Document
- have Downloaded from a Category
- have Downloaded a document with a given Licence
- Uploaded a Document
- Uploaded to a Category
- Uploaded a document for a given Licence
- belong to a DOCMan group
- have a document Checked Out
- uploaded between certain dates
JCal Pro
Send messages to users who are the contact email:
- from Events in a selected Category
- from selected Events
- from Events starting between selected dates
Include Event details in the Message content for:
- Events from a Selected Category
- selected Events
- Events starting between selected dates
- the Next X Events
Also able to limit the number of Events that are included.
