I've been really impressed with the ease of use and ease of customisation. Best of all, if you can't find what you need in forums or knowledgebase, the support forum is a great place for very quick answers. Like any extension, it is at the mercy of any limitations of Joomla (for example, you can't pull out just the user's first name in the mail template as Joomla stores the whole name in one field). Overall, highly recommended (and this is the first extension I've ever been convinced to buy).

I've used Acajoom, which is not a reliable component and a few other ones not worth mentioning, but this one is by far the best. Also the support is extremely responsive and helpful. It is worth the money, especially since I've wasted so much time trying to get the other ones like Acajoom to work.

I tried Acjoom, letterman, Yanc, and some other I don't remember. SM2 combines my most favored aspects of all three, and then some. If you need a reliable email sender I highly recommend SM2 Email Marketing.

Great Newsletter Component! I tried just about all the newsletter components available but none offered the option to let you check statistics to see how many people actually opened your newsletter, this is vital since it lets you judge how effective your email marketing actually is.

And although it is not a free component, because of all the features it is well worth the money.

Very good product for newsletter management. Lots of possibilities to determine which users should get the email/newsletter. Docu could be a bit better but there's excellent support from SM2. Especially when you buy the product. Regards, Chris

Thanks, I just downloaded the free SM2 Session Plugin. It resolved the issue I was having with a client’s site who infrequently maintained their site. And when they did go to maintain it is often resulted in a corrupted table! And they were not happy. Thanks SM2, you saved me from losing a very frustrated and upset client.
