 Suggestions - 2007/05/18 09:18 I am currently sending a sales email out to my very large list and the it has occurred to me that the following would be very useful...

1. The ability to pause the sending, switch the mode and continue. For example I am sending all HTML emails but not many are being opened, so I would like to send a few thousand text only but I cannot do that.

2. It would be good if you could pause and chnge frequency of sending. My sending is taking ages and id like to speed it up a little but i cant do that now the sending has started. Or the timeout, I would like to set that to a much higer value so I can run it over night, but I cant do it now I have started sending :(

You suggestion about being able to switch users between html and text will be taken on board.

As for your request to pause and change the frequency of the sending etc that is possible.
There is a Next and Cancel button in the toolbar when the queue is being processed. The Cancel button will stop the processing and return you to the Queue Manager. You can then go the Configuration and change the processing parameters and then go back to the queue and resume the processing

When sending, i click cancel, then go to 'messages' click on the message and it says

You cannot Edit this message because it has already been sent.

There are no options for me to edit.
