email settings? - 2009/03/24 12:22 Hi,

I am a potential customer. I noticed you have a "content management" plugin that might do what I am trying to accomplish.

I am trying to allow registered joomla users to subscribe to an email notification when new content is posted to particular sections of the site.

It seems that the plugin mentioned above only emails authors of the content. Is there any way to set it up so that regular registered joomla users can sign up for email notifications?

If so, I'm assuming these emails are customizable like the other emails your product generates. Is that correct?

Thanks,
a

SM2 Email Marketing cannot email users directly when new content is created.
However you can work around this easily.
Simply create a list named appropriately for this purpose.
Then once the new content is created you create and send a message to those users.
It will not be able to be targeted to a specific content item or section.
It also cannot be sent automatically as SM2 Email Marketing does not support auto responding

Hope this helps
