Hi Tony.
I use MosListMessenger for my sites. But yesterday Phil announced that the new listMessenger will only be integrated for Joomla 1.5
All my sites are still at Joomla 1.0, and I have no plans in migrating those sites to Joomla 1.5, because of two things.
Joomla 1.5 is not designed for PHP5, and has two much overhead because of that.
Joomla 1.5 has proven to include security issues, so I dont trust it to be a mature product yet.
But one thing that mosListMessenger had as a feature, and I can't find that on the demo site, is to create user fields.
So when a user registers I am able to ask for additional fields like address, Phone number, Birthday etc. and not just only name and email.
Is this possible in SM2 Email marketing?
Second question, how much encrypted are the software. I am a 3pd developer my self, and would like to make sure that the marketing product fits my marketing needs. So I will be making minor changes and plugins.
