Feature Request: Independent PHPMAILER - 2008/08/21 06:58I keep running into this issue with our Corporate Gmail account. I can only send out 2000 emails per day via 1 account, however I have the ability to send out another 2000 on another account. I thought it might be nice to pull SM2 off of the default Joomla PHPMAILER and have and independent one that would allow for multiple SMTP accounts.

Re:Feature Request: Independent PHPMAILER - 2008/09/01 19:37We use the Joomla! PHPMailer purely because it is part of Joomla! We feel that clients should not have to setup the mail config seperately in SM2 Email Marketing. Also by using the Joomla! Mail functions we can be sure that if anything goes wrong it is handled in a standard way.
We will consider this but cannot guarantee that we will implement this feature.
