SM2 Email Marketing Lite (v1.0.8)hot!

This is the Free Lite version of SM2's email-marketingEmail Marketing component.

Just download it and install on your own Joomla! powered website.  It is a powerful extension providing a tool to effectively manage all your email marketing campaigns.  View more information about this extension.

The Lite version is limited to sending to only the first 100 email address per message sent and only the first plugin in the list can be active. 

Alternatively, you can unleash the full capabilities of SM2's Email Marketing extension with your own copy of the full Professional Licence version. The full licenced version is not limited in any way and is yours to keep. Once you purchase and receive your Licence Key, simply enter it in the SM2 Email Marketing Configuration Manager and all features are fully unlocked.

There are no confusing options related to this module, just install and go - it configures itself based on your existing settings in the SM2 Email Marketing Component.

SM2 Email Marketing - UPDATE to 1.0.8.4hot!

This is the update from SM2 Email Marketing version 1.0.x to 1.0.8.2

To perform this update simply extract the archive provided and copy the folder structure provided into the root of your Joomla site. This will update the necessary files.

This update has the following

  • Improvements to the Add and Remove All Subscribers feature in the List Manager.
  • Fixed Message date display bug.
  • Modified the Statistic Chart so that very small values are not charted.
  • Fixed the display of pagination links on Preview.
  • Remove a debug message.
  • Fixed a bug in Joomla! User unsubscription.

Please Note:

  1. This file contains all of the SM2 Email Marketing files in the exact file and folder structure they should be on a pre-existing installation. Using this method of upgrading it should overwrite the existing files.
  2. If using FTP to copy the files to your Joomla! site you must ensure that the administrator/components/com_sm2emailmarketing/licence.php file is copied in BINARY mode.
    Check your FTP client documentation for instructions on how to switch to BINARY mode.

Auto List Subscription Templatehot!

This is the modified templates to allow Auto List Subscription in SM2 Email Marketing. 

Contains the modified patTemplate files to allow List subscription to be hard coded.

Note: Only use if you do not want the user to have to selected the list or lists they are subscribed to. Once implemented users are no longer able to select List subscription options.

SM2 Email Marketing Sample CSV file

This CSV file shows a sample of the CSV format that is acceptable to be imported by SM2 Email Marketing. Other formats may also be acceptable.

Notes:

  • The first row must be the field titles.
  • Only the Name and Email field are required, although they can be named anything and in any order.
  • The Receive field can accept "html" or 1 to indicate the Subscriber should receive HTML, text or 0 are used for Text.
    If this field does not exist you can specify what all imported Subscribers will receive during the import process.
  • The List is a pipe | seperated list of the List Names that each Subscriber is subscribed to.
    If a list does not exist it will be created.
    If this field does not exist you can specify what all imported Subscribers will be subscribed to during the import process.

SM2 Email Marketing Sample XLS file

This Excel document shows a sample file that can be used to generate a CSV file that is acceptable to be imported by SM2 Email Marketing.

Once the data is entered then Save As... CSV format before importing.

DO NOT IMPORT the EXCEL file as it will cause errors.
